Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are parishioners 18 years of age and older, who are commissioned by the church to distribute Holy Communion at Mass, to the sick at home, and to those in the hospital.
In order to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion you must be a Catholic in good standing and have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Those interested should contact the pastor or the pastoral associate.
